Okay, just so you all know, I have moved in the literal sense recently and my blog is following suit. I have just moved to this new URL. I hope to see you all there soon!
As you may have heard, it was announced on Monday that Cara Delevingne was going to be the face of Topshop this fall. For Delevingners, this means you will be seeing a lot more of Cara modeling. So, do not worry, we are not losing Cara completely to the film and music world just yet.
Take a peek at the rest of the photos from the shoot on Topshop’s Google+ page.
See the Topshop website for the new behind-the-scenes footage of the AW14 shoot.
1. Blake Lively started her own website, Preserve, and she looks gorgeous (as usual) on the cover and in her feature.
In Blake’s Letter from the Editor, she says “The function of Preserve is part magazine, part e-commerce hub, part philanthropic endeavor and above all, a place to showcase the power of imagination, ingenuity, quality, and above all, people… We’ve created this space to multiply our experiences. So Preserve.us isn’t just the U.S. It’s all of us.”
2. Christian Louboutin has created his own nail lacquer.
The polish was inspired by the signature soles of the shoes which was originally created by red nail polish. This 0.4 fl. oz. bottle is anything but ordinary. Rouge Louboutin’s handle shape is “inspired by the tallest heel Christian Louboutin ever created- the Ballerina Ultima” which is 8-inches high. For an equally designer price, you can be the owner of the next most talked about nail lacquer. You can buy it here or at Sephora.
3. If you are a Delevingner, you will be happy to see her in two ads before you get to the Table of Contents.
Check back on Thursday for more about Cara Delevingne.
Pantone’s Colour of the Year for 2014 is Radiant Orchid.
So, what is there to love about this colour? Like 2013’s Emerald, Orchid is new and fresh, but you will be able to bring new pieces into wardrobe without breaking the bank. Celebrities, such as Kelly Osbourne, have been seen in the colour.
The First Lady has already been seen a few times in 2014’s colour. Below you will find a few options for your wardrobe in the new year.
I am pretty late to be commenting on this, but I still think it is worth a post.
For the longest time, I have loved shopping at H&M and I have also loved online shopping. It was always frustrating to not be able to buy products off of their online site when I needed a new pair of black jeans or something of the like. Since my university is located in the middle of a cornfield… literally…
Check out H&M’s website to look at the online store, including the home décor section now available online.
Last minute purchases are being made, including last minute decisions for what to wear for NYE.
Here are a few options to choose from if you are lacking inspiration or just need to find that perfect dress for the occasion.
Sparkles and sequins to feathers and mesh, your options are endless for this New Year’s Eve.
Hello fellow bloggers and readers,
I am very sorry it has been so long since my last post. I let busyness of the past semester get the best of me and it distracted from my regular posting schedule. I am now on Christmas holiday from uni and will not be going back to school until the end of January.
So… I now have time to blog and look for a job after graduation in May. My January will consist of blogging, reading blogs, catching up with friends, serving at the bar and grille near me at home I have worked at for the past few summers, and sifting through PR agencies to send my resume to.
Currently I am sipping on my free drink from Starbucks, a venti Caramel Macchiato. A much needed treat before work later.
I am hoping to have a few more posts up before the new year. If there is anything you would like to see me blogging about in the new year, let me know!
